In a distinguished celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of cultural exchange and human connection between nations, the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi hosted a special celebration marking \u201cEverest Day\u201d on Saturday evening, May 29, 2026, at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi Hotel. The event was attended by a number of ambassadors, members of diplomatic missions accredited to the United Arab Emirates, as well as prominent community figures, media representatives, business leaders, and individuals interested in the tourism and travel sectors.<\/p>\n

The ceremony commenced with the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and Nepal, followed by a speech delivered by His Excellency Tej Bahadur Chhetri, Ambassador of Nepal to the UAE. In his address, the ambassador emphasized the strong and distinguished bilateral relations between the UAE and Nepal, praising the continuous support extended by the UAE across various sectors, as well as the vital role tourism plays in strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between peoples.<\/p>\n
